AWANA "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed" (of the Gospel of Christ): Wednesdays, 6:15p.m. - 8:00p.m., September - April

4/18 theme: Practice for the Awards Night

*Awana Camp Scholarships are granted by First Baptist Church upon a clubber completing the criteria that was distributed at the beginning of the Awana year, and also reviewed recently with Awana clubbers. Parents, please be checking your child's progress on their handbook and also review the criteria in order for your child to be eligible for a camp scholarship to one of the following camps: Living Waters Bible Camp OR Village Creek Bible Camp.

Awana is a boys and girls club that is a global, nonprofit organization that teaches the Word of God. Awana reaches kids for Christ through fun, Scripture-rich experiences that lead them to know, love and serve Him. Kids' live are forever transformed. Volunteers grow as leaders. Families become stronger and churches build community through active involvement in Awana. There are four periods in Awana: Song Time, Game Time, Handbook Time, and Council Time. We offer Awana for ages pre-school through 6th grade. There is a fee for Awana, uniforms and books; scholarships are offered as well. Children can join the program at any time during the year. Parents are invited to visit the club any evening to observe or ask questions.

Please Note: Parents are requested to come inside the building after AWANA to pick up his or her child. This is for safety precautions.

Monthly flyers will be sent home so parents are informed of each week's "theme!"
