First Baptist operates as a faith-based, non-for-profit church organization; we are an independent Baptist church. This gives the church members more control over how the funds are spent, with a sense of “ownership” as well. Quarterly business meetings keep the members involved and active in the activities of our church. Church membership is strongly encouraged so that you are able to give input on how the finances of the church are handled, vote, and share your thoughts as a church member. This promotes a sense of belonging and unity. Membership classes are offered throughout the year or as needed.
